My doctor recommended Yoga along with some vitamins and a change in diet to help with anxiety, panic and sleeplessness. This was the easy part. The diet change is a tough one for me. I am a total comfort eater. And remembering to take vitamins works for a short while, then I inevitably forget.
I wanted to share what I got out of my experience. First of all, spending the day and that hour with my daughter was a priceless gift. Secondly, tuning out the noise of the world and tuning in to myself is something I haven’t done in months, maybe years. Even during prayer and devotion time, I get distracted and interrupted regularly. This was an awesome exercise in focus for me. I intend to be more deliberate to tune out and tune in during my daily time in the Word.
I especially appreciated my toes today. I can’t remember the last time I was aware of them and what they do for me. How cool is this body that God created?!
I will go back, and I hope to become more aware of the person God created me to be, in this body He created just for me. I need to take better care of me so I can take better care of my peeps.
Thankful to God today for a new experience and for blessing me with good health.I will be in search of a Christian alternative, as I do desire to honor God, big G, not little g. He is the one and only. His Holy Spirit is my power source. Jesus is Lord of my life.
Peace be with you.....t.
